METHODS OF FRAMING
METHODS OF FRAMING ARE GENERALLY CLASSIFIED INTO TWO TYPES.
- Traditional Method
2. Modern Method
TRADITIONAL METHOD OF FRAMING:-
Traditional agriculture is a primitive type of food production and farming that makes extensive use of indigenous knowledge, land use, traditional equipment, natural resources, organic fertilizer, and farmers' cultural values.
Tools for traditional methods of framing:-
Sickle:- Sickle is used for harvesting cereal crops and cutting hay.
Plough:- A plough is used for turning the soil in preparation for planting.
Spade:- Digging is done with a spade. It is used for breaking ground and chopping through tree roots and other tough stuff.
Winnower:-Winnowing, the process of separating quality grains from chaff, is a crucial process in the cultivation of paddy. The traditional way of winnowing is making the dried grains fall from a height using shovels and a sieve.
Trowel:-Trowel is a small, pointed tool which is used manually to perform digging the overturning of the soil of a small area of cultivation.
Weeder:-An agricultural weeder is a tool used to remove weeds from a field or garden. It is a simple tool that can be used by hand or attached to a machine, such as tillers and power weeders. Agricultural weeders work by either pulling the weeds out of the ground or cutting them off at the base.
MODERN METHODS OF FRAMING:-
Modern farming
involves advanced machinery and scientific methods for higher
productivity, whereas traditional farming is heavily dependent on human
labor and basic tools. Modern farming is increasing productivity,
enhancing crop quality, and promoting sustainability through automation
and advanced techniques.
Tools for modern methods of framing:-
Tractor
Sprayer
Cultivator
Seed drill
Harrows
